All of the baptised share in the priesthood of Christ but I earnestly ask you to pray for vocations to the ministerial priesthood, the permanent diaconate, and the religious life (the later for both women and men). From June this year we will have only one man in training. The road to ministry is not easy but believe me it is very worthwhile. Bishop Marcus and the Vocations Promotions Team are offering to personally meet with men 16 upwards thinking about the ministerial priesthood on Pentecost Sunday on the 8th of June at Hinsley Hall at 2pm. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. If you are even remotely thinking about a vocation to the priesthood, or just curious, why not go along?
